Business Plan Updates from Corinna West, Wellness Wordworks, and Poetry for Personal Power:
We missed you over the winter: Corinna West, the founder of Poetry for Personal Power and Wellness Wordworks, has been out of full time entrepreneurship activity much of the winter due to a spiritual emergency. This involved her deciding to follow the Creator’s guidance on life choices and business pursuits. You can read about the first part of this journey on her personal blog, with more updates to come out soon about the second half of the journey. Also, our main blog editor and board chair, Ken Braiterman, was diagnosed with a terminal illness, Lou Gherig’s disease, that has made it difficult for him to type. But we are slowly climbing back on the horse and releasing our new ideas bit by bit.
We have these special offers now for our blog readers, Twitter Followers, and Facebook Fans:
- First notice about business changes: We are going from four advocacy programs and four peer support programs to just one main program, Poetry for Personal Power. The Connect Power timebank will focus employing poets initially. UnDiagnosing Emotional Distress will become a peer support referral network for Poetry for Personal Power. We are ending all unpaid efforts with Combat Sports KC, Please Cut Our Budgets, The Chocolate Fairy and Heartland Consumer Network.
- First crack at purchasing or freely adopting our ending program assets like Facebook pages and Twitter accounts.
- First chance at Liquidation prices on T-shirt inventory. To our blog readers, Facebook Fans, and Twitter Followers, these shirts are only $10 each, or 6 for $50. See images and order here. Use coupon codes 10each and 6for50. Shipping is $3 regardless of order size. We have: Combat Sports KC T-shirts, that tell Corinna’s Olympic story, sizes XS through XL, Connect Power T-shirts, about overcoming adversity, size L and XL, and Please Cut our Budget shirts, about real recovery funding, sized S-XL, with one 4XL left.
- Matching funds for our Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign. We’ve lined up matching donors for all funds raised in the first week so your donation will be doubled when you contribute to our organization.
